Settings 101

The knobs and the dials.

Settings is where all Scripto users manage the information associated with their account, such as email address, user avatar, and password. Settings is also where Admins can manage workspace settings, members, and permissions.


Head Over to Settings

  • To get to Settings, choose Settings from the dashboard’s upper toolbar or click your avatar in the bottom-left corner and select Settings

  • The navigation on the left lets you move between the different sections.


Managing Your Account

  • The Profile section is where you update your user name, profile picture, or the email address associated with your account.

  • The Change Password section is where you can update your password.


Managing Workspace Settings

You'll see sections for Workspace Settings and Members. If you're an Owner or Admin, you'll also see a section called Permissions.

  • Workspace Settings is where the owner can change the workspace name or transfer ownership of the workspace to another member.

  • Members is where Admins can invite people and remove existing members. 📚 Learn more

📌 Note: If you are a member of more than one workspace, you need to be actively in the workspace whose permissions you want to modify.
