A rundown often contains one or more scripts. The split editor makes it possible to open a rundown and open one of the scripts in that rundown at the same time.
Open the Split Editor From the Rundown
If a rundown has script rows, you'll see a purple script icon in the first column of the spreadsheet. Click on that icon and the script will open in the split editor.
If you've imported rows from the script into the rundown, those rows will also have an icon in the first column, linking the row in the rundown to the block in the script. Clicking that icon will jump to that block in the script.
Open the Split Editor from the Scripts in Rundown Pane
When you have a rundown open, you can see a list of all the scripts in that rundown by opening the Explorer sidebar and clicking the document outline tab.
Scripts in Rundown lists every script in the rundown, updating in real time to reflect the order of the script rows. Click on a script name once and it will open in the split editor, so you can read or edit the script and the rundown at the same time.
Click on a script name twice if you want to open that script in place of the rundown.
