Prompter view lets you turn any tablet, computer or monitor into a simple teleprompter.
When a script is in prompter view, Scripto only displays the content that on-air talent needs to see β speaker names, parentheticals, and dialogue. Everything else is filtered out to keep the focus clear and free from distractions.
How to Open Prompter View
When you have a script open, select Prompter view from the ...
menu.
How to Adjust Prompter View Settings
When you have prompter view open, click the gear icon in the upper right corner to adjust the settings.
Text Size changes the size of the font.
Dark Mode shows light text on a black background.
Reverse flips the text and display it mirrored. You can use this feature if your teleprompter hardware doesn't support flipping or mirroring text itself.
Auto update as the script changes means that any changes to the script will appear in prompter view in real time. Turn this setting off if you want to be able to edit the text and NOT have those changes appear in prompter view.
How to Close Prompter View
Click the X icon in the upper right to close of prompter view and go back to the editor.
