Scripto uses email to send one-time password (OTP) codes when creating an account, changing emails, resetting passwords and enabling multi-factor authentication. For added security, these codes are valid for one minute.

Common Issue: Email Delays or No Delivery

If you’re not seeing these emails — or they’re showing up late — they may be getting caught in your organization’s email quarantine system.

Enterprise accounts often apply stricter filtering rules than consumer email platforms. This can result in authentication emails being delayed, flagged, or rejected entirely.

Solution: Allow Scripto Emails

To ensure delivery, we recommend working with your IT department to add "scripto.live" to your allowlist or safe senders list.

For managed Outlook or Microsoft 365 accounts, this can typically be done through the Tenants Allowlist in Microsoft Defender.

Still Not Getting Emails?

If your organization has already allowed our domain but you’re still not receiving verification codes, please reach out to our support team. It’s helpful to include:

  • The affected user’s email address

  • Approximate time of the attempted login or action

  • Whether the email was found in spam/quarantine

  • Any relevant email logs your IT team can provide

This information helps us confirm successful delivery and assist your IT team in adjusting filters as needed.
